This very old building sat vacant and in disrepair in the center of the village of Unionville, PA. The building had a hard life and it showed. Clients, that we had worked for previously, purchased the property with the intention of dividing it into two apartment units. Old buildings like this do not always make the transition into apartment units well. We developed a functional and sensitive design that allowed all of the original building to stay intact, preserving — and even enhancing — the character of the surrounding village. 

Old buildings like this one also need the right contractor working on them. Chuck Ginty of Ginty Associates was the right contractor and the entire project benefitted from his skill and sensitivity.
