Sometimes you just need to blow out the back of a house. This might look like a typical “colonial” from the street but around back, it’s something entirely different.

Rittenhouse Builders handled this tricky renovation project in Harleysville, PA. The clients wanted modern spaces in an existing house that was far from modern. By opening up the entire back of the house, they got the modern they were looking for. The addition has lots of glass plus a detached garage and indoor basketball court / exercise space.

Hats off to Christiana Factory Studio for coming up with just the right cabinetry that enhances the spaces and architecture.
